Zen
A friend (and really cool person) posted this daily zen on her Facebook wall today and I wanted to share it with you:
"Do not overrate what you have received, nor envy others. He who envies others does not obtain peace of mind".
The second part of this message is really good advice, but it is the first sentence that I love. I love to not overrate – so much pressure disappears. While I have great appreciation and respect for hard work and achievement, I am not comfortable with overrating anyone. Anyway, this is something I thought worth posting.
