Sharing

My daughter is reading Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech (required reading, don't be quiet so impressed). Yesterday, when she was reading, she came to me and wanted to share a small passage that she thought I would like. I did, and now I am putting it here for you to read; I think it is something you might like.

"We did not pick from the bottom of the vine or from the top. The ones at the bottom were for the rabbits, my mother said, and the ones at the top were for the birds. The ones at people - height were for people."
If only we all lived by that concept.
