Summer Colors

I suspect that you are tired of seeing my garden, but, for some reason, be it weather or time, it is so beautiful this year and here on the 4th of July, it seems to be peaking. Perhaps the photo will inspire you to plant a pack of zinnias, Clementine Hunter's favorite flower. They are so easy to grow, bloom til the first frost, and are great flowers to cut for your kitchen. Oswald, our cat looks thin. She is nursing kittens. My husband feeds her twice a day and she has, on many occasions, been caught with a lizard or prehistoric looking salamander in her mouth, still, she is thin. Maybe I should change my diet to lizards and salamanders?? Happy Fourth of July!!
