An Easel
This summer has been so wonderful in terms of how much time I have found to paint. I recently went to a “get in touch with your right brain” session/workshop and, as a result, I am doing things a bit differently on my canvases. I am posting three of my “still wet” paintings. The most wonderful thing about these paintings is what they are sitting on. This easel is something my dad made for me when I was in college and poor as a church mouse. It is put together with scraps and crown molding and chain from the hardware store and of course, love. I wonder what he was thinking as he put it together. Remember, there were no instructions; no Google and I did not have one to copy from. Do I need to say how much I cherish this?
peace,
p.s.
