Summer Begins
It’s the first day of summer and what could be more expressive of this season of long afternoons, June bugs and fireflies, swimming holes and family reunions, than a seemingly carefree lizard basking atop a Black Eyed Susan? My cousin, Glenda, has sent a photo she took of just that. This image has to make you smile and envy this little creature and his flower top view of the world. How much nicer do you think it looks from there?
